与君初相识，Yú jūn chū xiāng shí
犹如故人归。Yóu rú gù rén guī
天涯明月新，Tiān yá míng yuè xīn
朝暮最相思。Zhāo mù zuì xiāng sī

注解：

君jūn ：“您”，你的尊称 "thou",honorific title of "you"

犹如yóu rú ：好像，好似 feel like

故人gù rén：老朋友 old friend /old mate

朝zhāo：早上，白天 morning / dawn

暮mù ：晚上 evening/ dark

古诗今译：

当我初次与你相识，

你就像是我的一位老朋友，

天边挂着一轮新升起的明月，

每天早晨和傍晚是我最思念你的时候。

这首小诗作者已难考，但其涵义隽永。“与君初相识，犹如故人归”这两句曾被镌在云南昆明卷烟厂产的一种茶花烟烟盒上，据说这种烟细而长，味道淡淡的，适合女人抽，但抽这种烟的女人通常都是寂寞的，真是这样吗？

A brightly moon hangs on the skyline,

I would rise,lovesick at heart every dawn and dark.

The author of this poem is unknown now, but its implication is meanful."When I see you at first sight,you feel like an old mate of mine." These two sentences were once been issued on a kind of camellia box which produced by the Kunming Cigarette manufactory in Yunnan province,it was said that this kind of cigarettes are long and slender,suitable for the women,but those who smoke this cigarettes are usually lonely, believe it or not?
